Almost Lost My Life

I was driving on my way to my doctor on appointment when I almost hit a ten-wheeler truck. That happened to have blocked my way in his hurry to pass in an intersection.

I was about on a 100-120 km/ph run and about 200 meters away from the truck. I believe I could not easily push my breaks to the limit because I know I could possibly be thrown by my car.

I was able to escape from that accident. I just didn't figure out why. I just prayed that I missed the back portion of the truck. But what if I was hit by the truck?. I realized the importance of insurance in my life. I have a car insurance and a life insurance for my family but I could not appreciate them any more than after the incident.

I said to my self to be more cautious and more careful when driving. Now that I have my own family already, i t's better to be with them, just in case I will secure home insurance only, a house can be bought and re-built but not my own life.
